Cost

ValidPath have always been one of the lower-priced networks in the UK.  Never the cheapest, and (based upon our analysis of those models) not planning to be.  However, our philosophy has always been clear on this matter, and - based upon more and more evidence from the marketplace - we are as firm on the principle of managing conflicts of interest as we have ever been. 

  • We do not take back-handers from insurance companies and other product-providers in order to put them on our 'panels'.  This is still an extremely common practice amongst our competitors.
  • We do not insist on override commissions from product-providers in respect of our Members' business.  It is a mystery to us to how so many of our competitors get away with it, especially with RDR implementation approaching fast.
  • We do not charge product or service providers for the privilege of presenting at our conferences and workshops.  We want our Members to feel that those companies are speaking to them because they have something worthwhile to say - not just because they may have lined our pockets.

This means that our charges to our Members are simply as they appear to be.  There are no hidden revenue streams.  Our charges are based upon what it costs to do the job - reliably, responsibly and effectively.
